Backgrounds and Necessity of Establishment

• This company, a manufacturer of casting parts for heavy equipments and automobiles, produces and newly develops the hydraulic casting parts for VOLVO KOREA Co., Ltd., Japanese enterprises (Flutek Kawasaki), and so on.
• We construct the technical basis by systemizing the existing application development research, which is weak, when developing the hydraulic products.
• We aim to develop the products relying on imports due to difficulties in domestic production by enhancing the technology forming and revitalizing the technical basis and to re-export them.

Functions

• Construction and establishment of technology to solve the phenomenon of HOT SPOT that can occur at the heavy section of hydraulic casting during the process of distribution and solidification and the enhancement of mechanical property that can stand the fatigue internal stress of high pressure
• Development of new technology for improvement of durability and fire resistance of Core.

Special Research Field

• Production methods of HYADRAULIC CONTROL VALVE and construction of manufacturing technology basis combining the new technology on quality and performances of products and research.
• Establishment of commercialization of casting plans such as combination of heavy section shirinkage, cooling speed, and so on through application of scientific knowledge on analysis of flow and solidification
• Prediction/control in advance of defects of casting products, establishment of the optimum casting plans/techniques, and activities on mass-production technology.
